"Rushing By"

This particular painting was inspired by the pictures taken on the hiking trail by the Oak Creek at Sedona. What really caught my eye was how the water interacted with the rock right at the center of the creek. I used a watercolor under-painting of bright blue and black to change the mood from cloudy to a sunny day. Date competed: 01/11/2013.
