"Splash"

This painting is the third in my "water and rock" series which includes "rushing by" and "by the river bed". I love how the water splashes against the rock creating this splash with different textures and translucence. I wanted to also give a go at the impressionist style of painting with this subject so I combined the two to create this painting. The bright colors also attract me to this work.
